Working therapeutically with adults with neurological disorders and their families is a specialty I have developed over the past decade.
Individuals with neurological disorders often experience changes in cognition, emotions, behavior, and family/social interactions, and may not feel fully accepted by others. Family and friends may not know how best to support them. Appreciating these changes and formulating realistic goals can make a positive difference moving forward in life.
Relying upon the structure of cognitive-behavioral therapy through an existential-humanistic framework, we can work together to develop activities and relationships grounded in meaning and purpose.
